NEW DELHI: The government on Monday claimed Rohingya-backers are trying to destabilise India by changing the country’s demographics.
Many have been demanding that the Muslim minority refugees not be pushed back to Myanmar, but instead be offered basic health and education facilities here.
Additional Solicitor General (ASG) Tushar Mehta demanded to know before a three-judge bench, led by CJI Dipak Misra, “what interest they are espousing”. Activist lawyer Prashant Bhushan replied that he was fighting for the human rights of women and children of the Rohingya community. Eight per cent of the refugees are women and children, he stated.
But, the fact is here that maximum of the rohingya muslim women’s are pregnant and are ready to give birth to their upcoming child which according to the law would be an Indian means He/She would immediately gets the rights of citizenship,vote,subsidy and minority quota by it’s birth in India. It would be a huge burden on a over-populated country like India.
Their were reports in the past that the Rohingya were involved in the attacks on security forces and just few days ago a team of journalists was too attacked by the rohingya muslims which immediately go viral on social media and put them under the scanner of Intelligence agencies.
Also, Anti-India forces like I.S.I of Pakistan and other terror outfits are recruiting them to create insatiability in west bengal and North-east of India with help of them. Intelligence Agencies has warned”
The government has denied that the BSF was using chilli or stun grenades to push them back. But said the government would not allow anybody without valid visa papers to enter India.
